Optics (DeepLens)

The optical lens models in End2endImaging are provided by DeepLens — the differentiable optics engine — and are available as end2end_imaging.deeplens.*. Rather than duplicate them here, they are documented in full in the DeepLens API reference.

This covers the lens models (GeoLens, HybridLens, DiffractiveLens, PSFNetLens, DefocusLens), optical surfaces, light/wave representations, and image-simulation utilities.

The embedded optics now follow DeepLens 2.5.4, with rendering in GeoLensRender and surface spacing stored as d_next. End2endImaging retains compatibility for legacy surface d arguments, the deeplens.ops import path, and older defocus/diffractive calls. Use the embedded source for these compatibility behaviors rather than assuming the standalone package is identical.
